Request a cleanup kit from ECOSLO during the month of August.
The cleanup kit has all the supplies you need for your household to pickup trash in your neighborhood!

PICK UP YOUR KIT
ECOSLO will contact you about picking up or dropping off your cleanup kit. Kits are being distributed the first two weeks of September. We are partnering with local nonprofits, businesses, and our Community Champion volunteers who are assisting with kit distribution. Be on the lookout for an email from ECOSLO (events@ecoslo.org) in early September!
COMPLETE YOUR CLEANUP
During Wednesday, September 16 – 30, choose a date, time, and nearby location that is convenient for you and your household to conduct your litter pick up as part of SLO County’s Creeks to Coast Cleanup!
Take pictures (email them to events @ecoslo.org or tag ECOSLO on Facebook or Instagram.
Track the items you pick up using the Clean Swell app.
REPORT YOUR FINDINGS
Once you complete your cleanup, be sure to submit your data via the Clean Swell app. You will then be added to this year’s SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup Champions map!

SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup 2019
1,850 volunteer participated in the 2019 cleanup which is part of California Coastal Cleanup Day.
Over 17,000 lbs of trash and recycle was removed from SLO County’s beaches, creeks, parks, streets, and lakes, across 48 cleanup sites.
